A four fold screen using a Japanese cut velvet technique called Yuzen Birodo to create the pictures in each panel. A very textural technique with lovely detail and shading to create rippling water, pine trees and landscaped scenes of a fishing village.  Early C20th. Can be hung on a wall or used as a stand alone floor screen.
