A good size pale blue striped glazed ceramic vase by Allix, made in Vallauris, France, c1950. In great condition with no chips or cracks. Signed to base.

Allix (Michel Alexandrov) born in 1910
Graduate of the School of Decorative arts of Paris, he settles down to Vallauris in 1945 then to Golfe Juan. In 1955, he receives the silver medal in the international exhibition of ceramic in Cannes.
