Borsani cocktail cabinet

Stunning original cocktail cabinet by Italian architect and designer Osvaldo Borsani.  Etched glass panels of classical ladies holding dishes and vases are set into a beautiful figured walnut wood casement on birch and maple looped folded legs, resting on final plinth.  The front two doors are carved with square geometric pointed block like shapes.  Inside the cabinet are gilt metal looped shelves against a mosiac mirrored background. Originally there was provision for an internal light. Finally there is a pull out red glass tray to mix your cocktails and drinks upon.  It is also lockable with a key.  Fantastic condition. Classic and sophisicated - a statement piece.  Italian c1945.
