An elegant and beautifully made polished and black lacquered Italian secretaire with curved edge detail to sides. The interior is lined with soft yellow sycamore wood and the lower cupboard section is decorated with gilded metal roundels of stylised flowers and leaves. The front feet are elegantly finsihed with brass sabots - a classic detail to many Italian c1950's pieces. Due to the nature of the shiny black lacquer - it is a hard piece to photograph!
