A stunning pair of hand embroidered silk panels depicting mainly pheasants, sparrows and other birds as well as butterflies and other insects amongst climbing roses, wisteria and bamboo. Exquisitely executed with incredible varied use of stitching skill. It also shows wonderful detail and brings it almost to life! Dating from c1900, this piece was almost certainly made in China for the European market.
