Very unusual pair of off white creamy coloured lacquered side cabinets
by LOTOS Werkkunst, Germany c1950/60`s. Taken from a design in the style
of George Nelson the American industrial designer and one of the
founders of American Modernism, also design director for Herman Miller
company - George Nelson Associates also designed much of the 20th
century`s most iconic modernist furnitur.
Great original condition
the lacquer shows minor crackle but not loss which is expected and
consistent wth age. The box of drawers slide open easily and sit on
four classic brass 1950`s shaped legs. Label of Lotos on the back. (see
pic). Would work well as bedside cabinets.
