Very chic and elegant black laquered framed coffee table with figured marble inset top. Overall the style is very much in the Chinese taste, especially the chain link apron as well as the slighty raised lip of the top edge. The marble has wonderful colours of greens, tans, burgundy and browns. A very unsual table in wonderful condition. c1920.
