Utterly stunning hand painted Chinoiserie lacquered 9 fold panel screen. Profusely decorated with many exotic birds including parrots, phoenix, swallows, peacocks and mandarin ducks and more, plus an array of flowers and plants with fruit and blossom. The detail is exquisite with lovely wonderful colour. The back is also hand painted with larger images of phoenix birds, ducks and red headed cranes amongst plants, rocks and water. C19th. Can be used within a room or hung on a wall.
